Website paedophile jailed indefinitely

By Paul Hales in Luton
.
Undercover Cops busted a child abuse web site and then posted an ad on the site seeking a volunteer to run it. Daft and unmarried computer technician Gordon McIntosh offered to do the job but had his collar felt instead. Police said he seemed a bit shocked when they turned up.
McIntosh was today jailed for an indefinite period at Luton Crown Court having admitted making, distributing, and possessing indecent images of children.
Detective Chief Inspector Liz Hanlon said the site has now been closed down, "but it’s a tactic we’ll use again. People have very short memories," she said. "If people use these sites we’ll find them. When you use a computer there’s always a trace”.
Judge Richard Foster said McIntosh McIntosh, 33, of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, was a public danger. She ordered he be kept in jail until shrinks decide it is safe to free him.
The man had around 1,500 indecent pictures and videos of children and babies being abused on his PC. The judge said it was "one of the very worst cases certainly I have ever seen of his nature".
